Bacon, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Sandwich

This isn't a very impressive post. I'm not even going to lie. There's really no 'recipe' here. However, I just want you to step out of your granola-loving breakfast self for one second and indulge in this awesomeness. Every once in a while, you owe it to yourself to make your own breakfast sandwich instead of eating that frozen bullshit or that fake shit from McDonald's.
I'm glad this is the first photo I decide to officially watermark...
Here's what you need: bacon [or a sausage patty], eggs [organic & cage free because that's how we roll here in upstate NY], white american cheese [don't use yellow, that's grosss], and some english muffins.

Fry up that bacon so it's nice and crispy [but not to the point where if you dropped a piece on the ground it would shatter like glass. TOTALLY happened to me the other day. Fail] Drain some of that grease off on a paper towel.

You can either fry the eggs in the existing grease or in butter. I chose the grease today because I was being lazy. I typically don't go that route. But it is quite delightful. I also dab some of the grease off with a paper towel when the eggs are done.

Toast those english muffins. And then... construct. My order is: muffin half, egg, cheese, bacon [two slices, each broken in half] and then muffin half. Put a little pressure on the muffin, and boooooom, here comes that yolk lava flow--ready for you to dip right into. If you don't do that, you're likely to have a yolk explosion all over your shirt when you bite into it. Watched my husband curse one morning when that happened to him...it was great.

If you haven't made yourself a simple breakfast sandwich, you best get on it, because you are missing out. Enjoy my fellow bacon lovers!
